It's been over a year-and-a-half since Sam Kerr last featured for Chelsea and she was clearly determined to make up for that lost time.
The Australia international suffered a knee injury in January 2024 that curbed an imperious run of form that saw her plunder 99 goals for the WSL champions.
But after 634 days out of action, Kerr was back doing what she does best after coming on as a second-half substitute in Sunday's encounter with Aston Villa.
Sonia Bompastor's side held a 2-1 lead at Villa Park before the 32-year-old cropped up with a stoppage-time effort that took her into a century of goals with the club.
Talk about coming back with a bang!
