Sam Vokes has announced he will retire at the end of the season. The player said in a post that Saturday's match at Gillingham will be his last.
Vokes joined Wolves in 2008 and helped the club win promotion to the Premier League. He made a handful of top-flight appearances, spending much of his time out on loan.
He then moved to Burnley, where he spent seven seasons and played a key role in establishing the Turf Moor side in the Premier League.
In more recent years he featured for Stoke City and Wycombe Wanderers.
On the international stage he won 64 caps for Wales and was a prominent figure in the run to the Euro 2016 semi-finals.
He reflected on a 20-year career and 750 appearances, including his Wales caps, saying it felt the right time to stop after realising childhood dreams, playing across all four divisions and representing several clubs. He also spoke of the privilege of sharing the Wales dressing room and the journey from tough times to the highs of 2016, along with the pride of representing Cymru around the world.
