Samsunspor eye loan for Nice striker Kevin Carlos with option to buy | OneFootball

Samsunspor are interested in taking Nice forward Kevin Carlos on a paid loan with an option to buy, according to L'Équipe.

The 25-year-old Spaniard joined Nice last summer and is under contract until June 2030. He arrived from Basel in a deal worth six million euros.

His debut season fell short of expectations, yielding two goals in all competitions and none in Ligue 1 across 23 appearances.

Nice would not be opposed to the proposal, although any agreement would also hinge on the player.

Carlos is keen to prove his worth in Ligue 1 or in one of the other four major European leagues.
