Samsunspor's form has swung, with a 2-1 win at Eyüpspor following a 4-1 defeat at Çaykur Rizespor and a home draw with Konyaspor. Kara Kartal have three wins in five, including a 4-2 victory over Antalyaspor, either side of defeats to Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe.

Samsunspor are without defender Lubomir Satka and forward J Assoumou through injury. Kara Kartal miss suspended defender Emirhan Topçu, with midfielder Kartal Yılmaz also sidelined.

Kara Kartal have scored 53 league goals with 54.33% shooting accuracy and could lean on Tammy Abraham's seven league goals, plus the supply line of Orkun Kökçü (seven goals and seven assists) and Vaclav Cerny (eight assists). Samsunspor have 34 goals and 40.52% shooting accuracy. Carlo Holse has seven and Marius Mouandilmadji six, with Emre Kılınç on four assists. With the visitors recording eight headed goals to the hosts' four, set pieces and wide deliveries may prove decisive.

A home win would move Samsunspor to 42 points and further consolidate seventh. Victory for Kara Kartal would take them to 58 points and strengthen their grip on a European place.
