Sanctions announced after América and Toluca brawl at Estadio Banorte | OneFootball

The Disciplinary Commission has announced punishments after a late brawl between América and Toluca at Estadio Banorte.

The flashpoint came near full time when Helinho kicked out off the ball, prompting an immediate red card. América players confronted him, tempers rose and pushing sparked a melee.

For Toluca, Helinho is suspended for three matches. Antonio Mohamed is banned for one match, as is assistant Sahyr Mohamed. All three also received financial penalties.

For América, Henry Martín is suspended for one match. Alejandro Zendejas has been fined.

Estadio Banorte has also been fined for the behaviour of the crowd.
