Santos have unveiled their 2026 second shirt with Umbro, reviving classic black and white stripes in a modern expression of brasilidade. According to Diario Do Peixe, it fronts the club’s collection theme for the year.
The storied striped design returns as the alternate kit, reinforcing club identity across generations. The motif, last used as the primary shirt until 2011, is now paired with contemporary graphic elements.
Club president Marcelo Teixeira stressed the shirt’s historic weight and the anticipation around the launch, linking it to memorable moments and to a Brazilian spirit recognised worldwide. He expressed confidence it will be a major sales success.
As with the home kit, the shirt includes bespoke detailing. A lower patch references the club’s ability to take brasilidade worldwide, and a label on the back prints the coordinates of Vila Belmiro, honouring Santos’ origins.
The player-issue version adds internal illustrated elements that deepen cultural identity, nodding to characters, symbols and stories tied to the club and to Brazilian football.
Eduardo Dal Pogetto, Umbro’s Brazil director, underlined the model’s emotional pull for supporters, evoking the stands, a full Vila Belmiro and a direct bond with fans. He said the 2026 edition is more closely aligned with the club’s essence. He added that the design preserves the iconic identity, enriching it with cultural and symbolic touches that reinforce Santos’ place in the national game.
