Santos close to extending Escobar deal to end of 2027 | OneFootball

Santos are close to extending left-back Escobar’s contract until December 2027.

"Yes, yes. Everything is on track to renew for one more year here. I am very happy and waiting for this renewal until December 2027," he told Globo.com on Friday.

The Argentine’s current deal runs to 31 December 2026, and he has agreed terms to add one more season, with only minor details and the signature outstanding.

Escobar has regained a starting place following the sale of Souza to Tottenham in England, and has since cemented his spot.

At the club since 2024, when Santos competed in Série B, he has made 103 appearances and scored two goals.
