Santos confirm signing of Moisés from Fortaleza on three-year deal | OneFootball

Santos have confirmed the signing of forward Moisés from Fortaleza on a three-year contract. The 29-year-old was registered with the CBF’s BID in time on Wednesday 11, so he could feature at Athletico-PR on Thursday 12 at 19:00, at Arena da Baixada, in the third round of the Brasileirão.

Santos will pay two million euros fixed to Fortaleza, with a further one million euros in bonuses tied to contractual sporting targets. Moisés had been under contract with Leão do Pici until December 2027.

Moisés said he is grateful for the chance, called Santos a giant club and expressed happiness at representing the badge. He hopes to repay the support with goals and assists and vowed maximum commitment alongside his team-mates.

Born in Morro da Fumaça, Santa Catarina, he began at Hercílio Luz then spent a loan at Concórdia. He later joined permanently and had loans at Brusque and Ponte Preta before signing for Ponte Preta. Fortaleza recruited him in 2022, he then moved to Cruz Azul in Mexico and returned the year before last.

His honours include the 2019 Copa Santa Catarina with Brusque, the Copa do Nordeste in 2022 and 2024 and the Cearense in 2022 and 2023 with Fortaleza. He becomes Santos' fourth addition this year, joining Gabriel Menino on loan from Atlético-MG, centre-forward Gabriel Barbosa on loan from Cruzeiro and Rony on a permanent deal.
