Santos drawn with San Lorenzo in Group D on Sudamericana return | OneFootball

Santos have been drawn into 2026 Copa Sudamericana Group D with San Lorenzo, Deportivo Cuenca and Recoleta following the CONMEBOL draw on Thursday.

According to Diario Do Peixe, Santos return to the continental competition after three years, having exited at the group stage in 2023. The trophy remains elusive for the club.

In the group phase each team will play one home and one away match against the others. Group winners advance directly to the round of 16, runners-up enter play-offs for a place in the round of 16.

Matchdays are scheduled for seven to nine April and fourteen to sixteen April. Further rounds follow on twenty-eight to thirty April, five to seven May, nineteen to twenty-one May, and twenty-six to twenty-eight May.

Play-offs first legs are set for 21 to 23 July, with second legs on 28 and 30 July. The round of 16 is slated for 11 to 13 August and 18 to 20 August, quarter-finals for eight to 10 September and 15 to 17 September, semi-finals for 13 to 14 October and 20 to 21 October, and the final on 21 November.

Santos now await the detailed fixture list before opening their Sudamericana campaign.
