Santos extend Escobar’s contract until December 2027 | OneFootball

Santos have extended left-back Gonzalo Escobar’s contract until December 2027. According to Globo.com, talks to prolong a deal due to expire at the end of this year began in early July.

The Argentine arrived in 2024 in a separate move alongside Felipe Jonathan’s departure to Fortaleza.

He later lost his place to Souza, then reclaimed it after the youngster left for Tottenham in England.

Representing Santos is a source of pride for Escobar, who has pledged to maintain his usual dedication while wearing the club’s historic shirt.

He has 107 appearances and two goals for the club, and will start again on Saturday against Remo in the first leg of the Copa do Brasil last 16.
