Santos have been fined by the STJD for delays against Remo and Bahia in the Brasileirão. Diario Do Peixe reports that the 1st Disciplinary Commission ruled on Thursday 30 April.

In the 2-0 win over Remo at Vila Belmiro on 2 April, round nine, Santos were fined R$ 4,000 and Remo R$ 2,000. Both clubs were charged under article 206 of the CBJD, which penalises teams for causing delays to kick-off or restart at R$ 100 to R$ 1,000 per minute.

Referee Savio Pereira Sampaio recorded a two minute delay to the first half because Santos entered late, then a further two minute delay to the restart caused by both teams. The match report added that Santos took three minutes to return for the second half and Remo two.

In the 2-2 draw with Bahia at Fonte Nova on 25 April, round 13, only Santos were cited and fined R$ 3,000. There was no delay to the initial kick-off, but the restart was held up as Santos returned late.

The report noted a five minute delay in leaving the dressing room and a further three minutes before play resumed, both attributed to Santos.
