Santos have 10 players one booking away from suspension for Sunday’s meeting with Vasco.

According to Diario Do Peixe, the Brasileirão match at São Januário kicks off at 16:00 on Sunday 16 in the 23rd round. If any of the 10 are booked, they will miss Mirassol next time out.

The players at risk are centre-backs Lucas Veríssimo, Adonis Frías and Luan Peres, left-back Escobar, and midfielders Gabriel Menino and João Schmidt. Also included are attacking midfielders Gabriel Bontempo, Barreal and Thaciano, and forward Gabigol.

Eight more squad members are on one yellow this campaign. They are goalkeepers Brazão, João Paulo and Diógenes, defender João Ananias, full-back Igor Vinicius, and midfielders Arão, Miguelito and Rollheiser.

A further group have also been booked once in the league but are not currently involved. They include Alexis Duarte and Zé Ivaldo, both on loan, Mayke, close to a departure, Vinicius Lira, recovering from an ACL injury, Rincón, who has left, and Zé Rafael, training separately.
