Santos in line for million-level payout from eight internationals across qualifiers and World Cup | OneFootball

Santos are in line for a million-level windfall from FIFA’s Club Benefits Programme, now covering qualifying call-ups and World Cup squads. According to Diario Do Peixe, eight club-linked players are covered.

The qualifiers involved Miguelito, Enzo Monteiro and Marcelo Contreras for Bolivia, Yeferson Soteldo and Tomás Rincón for Venezuela, and Alexis Duarte for Paraguay.

For qualifiers, FIFA pays about US$ 3,650 per player per day during 10-day windows, split between the clubs of registration. One window can yield around US$ 36,500.

Most of Miguelito’s calls were as a Santos player, with only his August to December 2025 loan to América-MG credited there. Enzo Monteiro moved to Chungbuk Cheongju in January 2026, yet most calls came while registered at Santos.

Rincón’s Venezuela call-ups were largely while at Santos. Soteldo’s will be split among Santos, Grêmio and Fluminense. Despite an ACL injury ruling him out of the World Cup, Alexis Duarte featured in 2025 dates as a Santos player.

World Cup payments are US$ 11,000 per day from 10 days before kick-off to elimination, then split across eight quarters over the previous two years. For Neymar, July 2024 to June 2026, about 75 per cent goes to Santos and 25 per cent to Al-Hilal. Gustavo Caballero is also covered.

Even a group-stage exit yields about US$ 264,000 to US$ 286,000 per player. Caballero’s share is roughly 50 per cent to Nacional, 29 per cent to Santos and 21 per cent to Portsmouth. The final sum depends on call-up volumes and progress.
