Santos have told Robinho Jr.'s camp there is no footage of his training-ground clash with Neymar at CT Rei Pelé on Sunday. According to Globo.com, the incident happened at the end of the session, after filming had stopped.
The club is waiting for the formal withdrawal of lawyer Anderson Luna's extrajudicial notice to close its internal inquiry.
Robinho Jr.'s representatives still think security cameras on site may have captured the row, but they are prepared to withdraw the complaint. Inside the club, the feeling is that the matter is closed.
After the draw with Recoleta in Paraguay on Tuesday, Robinho Jr. said he was upset by the slap but accepted Neymar's apology.
Neymar accepted he overstepped and said he would have preferred the issue to be handled internally, then apologised publicly. He is not expected to be fined by Santos after speaking openly and saying sorry.
Robinho Jr. is expected to continue his routine at the club. His camp had floated terminating his contract in Monday's notice, but after Tuesday's match he said he wants to stay, having recently renewed until 2031.
Sunday's row occurred during a reserves session, the day after the 1-1 draw with Palmeiras in São Paulo, when Neymar tripped the youngster and later slapped him. Despite a public apology, Robinho Jr.'s family pushed the case, with a notice seeking a statement, an inquiry, footage and a meeting over possible unilateral termination, though both players still travelled to Paraguay for the Copa Sudamericana.
