Santos still owe R$ 63 million to Benfica for Benjamín Rollheiser deal | OneFootball

According to Diario Do Peixe, Santos still owe R$ 63 million to Benfica for Benjamín Rollheiser, as shown in the club's 2025 financial statements.

The Argentine joined in February 2025 for 11 million euros, around R$ 65 million at the time. Santos bought 85% of his economic rights and his deal runs until 31 December 2028.

Santos also have money to receive from Benfica, about R$ 8.8 million tied to the sale of Marcos Leonardo, including sell-on and solidarity, plus pending items on Lucas Veríssimo's rights. Around R$ 5.9 million of that is short term.

Since arriving, Rollheiser has played 56 times, scoring four and assisting four. He has been used across the attack but has not secured a starting place.

The balance sheet lists further liabilities. For centre-back Alexis Duarte, signed from Spartak Moscow, Santos still owed R$ 21 million through December 2025, meaning no instalment had been paid. For Adonis Frías, half the fee has been paid and R$ 11 million remains outstanding, split between León of Mexico and Defensa y Justicia of Argentina.

The report says the first instalment remains unpaid amid cash flow issues early in 2026 that are expected to last until mid year.

Out of the picture, Duarte was loaned to Libertad of Paraguay, then suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury on debut.

Santos also owe Palmeiras about R$ 11 million from the 2025 signings of Mayke and Zé Rafael.
