Santos said on Thursday that tickets are sold out for Sunday’s Campeonato Brasileiro match against Coritiba, scheduled for 11:00 Brasília time at Neo Química Arena, in the 16th round.

A new batch could be released if there are cancellations. Around 45,000 tickets have been sold, a figure that could rise because suites and concessionaires are not included.

For this fixture the board cut prices compared with games at Vila Belmiro. Seats in Neo Química Arena were priced at R$ 60,00 to R$ 140,00 for full price. Against Bragantino, full-price tickets ranged from R$ 240,00 to R$ 266,67.

On Wednesday the Sócio Rei website suffered instability, prompting complaints from supporters. The disruption was attributed to integration problems between two companies involved in the system, one handling membership, plans and the start of sales, and the other running ticketing and the stadium map.

Internally this backdrop is seen as boosting the push for a full house, underlined by Thursday’s sell-out. There is an expectation that, with the game in the capital and with Neymar on the brink of a call-up, net revenue could be twice the average from this year’s matches at Vila Belmiro.
