Santos welcome four back for Coritiba decider, Luan Peres a doubt | OneFootball

Santos regained four players for Wednesday’s Copa do Brasil decider at Coritiba. Mayke, Gustavo Henrique, Gabriel Menino and Lautaro Diaz trained at CT Rei Pelé on Monday and have been cleared, so could feature at 19:30 at Couto Pereira.

According to Diario Do Peixe, Mayke had been recovering from a virus and is fit. Gustavinho suffered a left adductor injury in the first leg late April and returns.

Menino had been out for more than a month with a right hamstring problem. Lautaro Diaz felt thigh pain and missed the last three matches, but is available again.

Luan Peres remains the major doubt. He was hurt in the clássico with Palmeiras, and a fracture of the fourth metacarpal in his left hand was only identified a week later, leading to his late withdrawal against Red Bull Bragantino on Sunday 10. He worked indoors on Monday.

Santos will hold a final session on Tuesday before travelling to Paraná for the second leg. Further updates on Luan Peres are expected, but the outlook is that he still misses out. Goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão also returns after serving a suspension against Bragantino.
