São Paulo youth resume work at CFA after the break

On Tuesday (19), all age-group teams returned to training at Cotia, at the Laudo Natel Athlete Training Center, after the days off granted to part of the squads.

In the morning, the Under-14 to Under-17 teams followed the schedule as usual and carried out their activities on the synthetic pitch.

The Under-14s were the first to take the field. In the opening part of training, coach Andrey Mayr led an analytical passing drill, mainly focused on long balls. Then, the players took part in a small-sided 8v8 game. To wrap up the session, the coaching staff held a talk with the squad about the team’s goals after returning from Japan.

With the Under-15s, coach Vinícius dos Santos worked on possession and off-the-ball movement in high-intensity drills, with constant pressure to stimulate the players’ endurance and reaction speed.

Meanwhile, with the Under-17s, coach Menta initially ran a 5v5 possession drill with five supporting players. In the second part of training, the team took part in a German-style 10v10 exercise, split into three teams.

In the afternoon, the Under-13, Under-12 and Under-11 teams resumed training.

The Under-13s and Under-11s carried out technical work on the synthetic pitch and then, as part of encouraging competitiveness and game awareness, took part in small-sided matches. The Under-12s trained in showbol, divided into three teams. While two played a match, the third worked on coordination with professor Altair Ramos.
