Sariarslan's late header ends Kayserispor's winless run | OneFootball

Kayserispor beat Antalyaspor 1-0 in Kayseri, ending an eight-match Süper Lig winless run thanks to Talha Sariarslan's late header.

After the restart, substitutions added impetus for the hosts. In the 67th minute, they won a penalty when Denis Makarov was fouled by Kenneth Paal in the box.

Laszlo Benes dragged the spot kick wide (69.). Julián Cuesta then tipped away Fedor Chalov's goalbound header (78.) to keep Antalyaspor level.

Talha Sariarslan, introduced in the closing stages, found the breakthrough with a glancing header from Benes's outswinging cross after a corner (89.).

Earlier, Bilal Bayazit kept Kayserispor in it with assured handling, smothering efforts from Dário Saric and Nikola Storm. Cuesta was busy at the other end too, finishing with four saves.

Kayserispor registered 15 attempts, five on target, and edged possession at 53.3%. Antalyaspor produced 11 attempts with three on target and cleared their lines 29 times.
