Roma are still out looking for their next head coach.

The capital club were recently linked with Erik ten Hag whose appearance are the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday night proved only part of a tourist visit to Italy.

In the meantime, the primary candidates for Roma’s bench continue to be two: Stefano Pioli and Maurizio Sarri, writes Il Messaggero.

The first, after his experience at Milan, is considered an expert, business-minded profile, capable of working well with young players and bringing serenity to a difficult environment.

The second, Sarri, remains a strong suggestion: already courted in the past, he broke with Lazio but not with Rome, a city he knows and where he would feel ready to relaunch his career.
