Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio future remains uncertain, and his position could hinge on summer recruitment.
Il Corriere dello Sport reports that talks with president Claudio Lotito are planned after the Coppa Italia final against Inter Milan on May 13, and that Sarri would seek at least four signings to continue.
The 67-year-old has described this as the most challenging campaign of his career.
Lazio made no signings last summer, then sold key players in January, moves that angered him.
Sarri and Lotito feuded publicly, then recently declared a truce amid improved results and a buoyant Coppa Italia run.
According to the report, he would ask for a centre-back if Alessio Romagnoli or Mario Gila depart, and for two if both are sold.
In midfield, he still wants a replacement for Matteo Guendouzi, viewing Kenneth Taylor as a complement rather than a successor. If Toma Basic does not renew, two central midfielders would be needed.
He also wants a left-sided winger to support Mattia Zaccagni, with another if Gustav Isaksen is sold. Up front, a new centre-forward is targeted, as Petar Ratkov and Daniel Maldini have not added goals since January.
