Sasha and Lucas Barbosa raise ‘lei do ex’ threat as Santos face Bragantino | OneFootball

Santos host Red Bull Bragantino at Vila Belmiro on Sunday at 18:30 in the Brasileiro’s 15th round, with the ‘lei do ex’ looming in duplicate. The tie brings reunions with former forwards Sasha and Lucas Barbosa.

According to Diario Do Peixe, Eduardo Sasha enjoyed the more established spell at Santos. Signed in 2019, he played 104 games and scored 23 goals, then in 2020 he took legal action before joining Atlético Mineiro.

Sasha first struck against Santos in 2016 for Internacional, scoring in a 2-0 Copa do Brasil win that sealed a semi-final place. With Bragantino in the 2023 Brasileiro, he then hit two in a 3-1 victory at Vila Belmiro.

In the 2024 Campeonato Paulista he scored in a 1-0 group-stage win and again in a 3-1 semi-final, before adding another in a 2-1 Brasileiro success in 2025, also at Vila. In total, he has six goals against Santos, five of them for Bragantino.

Barbosa, a Santos academy graduate, emerged after helping the club finish runners-up at the 2022 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior. Promoted that year, he alternated between extended runs and time out, and was later sidelined by Paulo Turra before loans to Coritiba and then Juventude.

He registered seven goals in 65 senior appearances for Santos. Barbosa is now with Bragantino.
