Sassuolo have reportedly stepped clear of their competition in the race to sign youngster Vasilije Adzic from Juventus and are hoping to close the deal in the early stages of next week.

Adzic on the verge of sealing Sassuolo move from Juventus

According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio and various others, Adzic has given his approval to Sassuolo and is likely to complete a transfer to the Neroverdi within the next few days.

The two clubs are set to discuss the final details within the next few days. Adzic is reportedly set to join on an initial loan deal with an option to buy permanently. There is already an agreement in place over a contract until the summer of 2031 according to Sunday’s updates.

If Adzic’s move to Sassuolo is made permanent, Juve will also retain a sell-on clause.

It is set to be a busy few days of Juventus transfers, as both Randal Kolo Muani and Kerim Alajbegovic have arrived in Turin ahead of their moves to the Allianz Stadium. Joao Mario, meanwhile, is increasingly likely to leave the Old Lady in order to join Fiorentina.
