Over the last few years, the FC Barcelona forward Raphinha has proven himself to be one of the very best forwards in European football. The Brazilian has been a key part of Hansi Flick’s Blaugrana team that remains the dominant force in Spanish football.
As a result of his performances, the winger is also enjoying significant demand from the market. In this regard, Mundo Deportivo reports that several Saudi Arabian clubs are once again showing strong interest in the Brazilian and are preparing to make a move after the FIFA World Cup
This is not the first time Saudi clubs have tried to tempt the Barcelona captain. Last year, there was already a serious approach, with offers including a package close to €90 million for the Catalans and a highly lucrative contract for the Brazilian winger.
However, Raphinha chose to remain at the Catalan club, especially after signing an extension until 2028. At that time, even Jorge Jesus, then linked with Al Nassr, made efforts to convince him without success.
Now, interest from the Middle East has been reactivated. Three of the biggest Saudi clubs are once again keeping him on their radar and are ready to enter the bidding, although no official offer has been made so far.
The Saudi Pro League continues to push its long-term project of attracting top European talent, even as its appeal has slightly fluctuated amid wider geopolitical tensions and changing market dynamics.
For Barcelona, the stance remains unchanged. The club has no intention of selling one of its key attacking players and continues to see Raphinha as an important part of Flick’s project.
Instead, the Catalans are focusing on strengthening other areas of the squad, particularly the left wing, either by extending the stay of Marcus Rashford or by targeting another option in the market.
For now, Raphinha remains fully committed to Barcelona, while Saudi interest continues to grow without yet turning into a formal offer.
