SC Paderborn sign Preußen Münster full-back Jano ter Horst | OneFootball

Jano ter Horst has completed his move from relegated second-division side Preußen Münster to newly promoted Bundesliga club SC Paderborn ahead of the 2026-27 season.

SC Paderborn said a transfer fee of over €300,000 will be paid to their former league rivals.

The 23-year-old is expected to be a direct replacement for right-back Laurin Curda, who has been linked with 1. FC Köln and Hamburger SV.

Ter Horst recorded three assists in 32 appearances last season for Münster.

Sporting director Sebastian Lange said the defender’s profile suits the club, citing his versatility, pace, team-first approach and room for development. He added that Ter Horst’s mentality and physical attributes stand out, and that the club are looking forward to him showing his qualities in the Bundesliga.
