Rangers levelled when Thelo Aasgaard whipped a free-kick into the top right corner (41.).

Raphael Sallinger kept Hibs in it with a string of stops as Rangers pushed, denying efforts from Aasgaard and Mikey Moore. The keeper finished with six saves.

Substitute Scarlett decided the game, turning in Felix Passlack's ball from close range (89.). It was the forward's first goal for Hibs since joining in January.

Rangers dominated the ball with 72.4% possession and posted 21 attempts, seven on target. Hibs produced eight attempts and found the target four times.

Rangers remain third. Hibs are fifth. Next, Rangers visit Falkirk. Hibs host Motherwell next.
