Following positive dialogue with City Matters this evening, we are delighted to share new ticketing information, particularly as we prepare for the opening of the expanded North Stand next year.
We would like to thank City Matters for their valuable engagement. Their input has been instrumental in helping us to shape the information outlined below, and we look forward to continuing to discuss these matters with the network over the coming weeks and months.
New Season Tickets For The 2025/26 Season
We will be offering a minimum of 500 new Flexi-Gold Season Tickets to eligible Cityzens Matchday and Junior Members ahead of the 2025/26 season, and this number will increase depending on how many existing Season Ticket Members renew. Priority will be given to those existing Cityzens Matchday Members who have attended the most home Premier League matches during the 2024/25 season.
Season Ticket Pathways And Pricing
Through our continued, structured dialogue, City Matters has shared extensive feedback on pricing and pathways for Season Tickets.
As a result, from the 2025/26 season onwards, Flexi-Gold Season Ticket Members will be refunded the relevant portion of their subscription fee when they purchase their seat for each home Premier League match.
Those who purchase their ticket for 16 home Premier League matches over the course of the season will earn back the full amount of their subscription fee. Further information on this will be issued in advance of next season.
The introduction of this policy means that any Flexi-Gold Season Ticket Member has the opportunity to pay exactly the same as a Gold, Platinum or 93:20 Season Ticket Member, having the same seat throughout, while benefiting from greater flexibility.
As recently announced, any Flexi-Gold Season Ticket Member who has attended 16 home Premier League matches this season will be eligible to change to a Gold, Platinum or 93:20 Season Ticket should they wish. This is not limited to whether they purchased a ticket within the three-week Flexi-Gold Season Ticket window. Any tickets purchased ahead of the game count towards the 16 matches.
Confirmation that the majority of the additional General Admission seat capacity, resulting from the expansion of the North Stand for the 2026/27 season, will be dedicated to Season Ticket Members
It was always the Club’s intention to release new Season Tickets as part of the expansion of the North Stand. Whilst the seating configuration of the stand is yet to be finalised, we can confirm that it will be predominantly GA seating and that the majority of the additional GA seating capacity will be held by Season Ticket Members, through the release of new Season Tickets.
We anticipate that the availability of these additional Season Tickets will also create opportunities for Cityzens Matchday Members and Junior Members to benefit from a wider range of seats and price points. This choice will also create more availability in the North Stand for existing Season Ticket Members to relocate there should they wish.
The new Season Tickets to be made available for the 2026/27 season will be offered as Flexi-Gold Season Tickets, but should these Season Ticket Members attend 16 or more home Premier League matches in a season, they will have the opportunity to transition their Flexi-Gold Season Ticket to a Gold, Platinum or 93:20 Season Ticket.
We will also commit to offering Cityzens Matchday and Junior Members the opportunity to purchase Season Tickets which become available from non-renewals in future seasons.
Maintaining Pathways for Young Fans
As part of our commitment to making sure the next generation of fans can regularly attend home matches at the Etihad Stadium, of the new Season Tickets to be released for the 2026/27 season, we will ringfence a minimum of 50% for Junior Cityzens.
In the meantime, as previously communicated, we will offer an exclusive window to existing Season Ticket Members for a ‘Junior Pull Through’. This means that a number of Flexi-Gold Season Tickets will be made available ahead of the 2025/26 season for existing Junior Members who are connected to existing Gold, Platinum, 93:20 or Flexi-Gold Adult Season Ticket Members.
More Information To Follow Through The Summer
Over the summer, the Club will issue further information about how we will make available the allocation of new Season Tickets for the 2026/27 season to existing Cityzens Matchday Members. We will also issue further information about the expanded North Stand for Season Ticket Members who wish to relocate.
We would once again like to thank City Matters for their continued engagement throughout this season, and we look forward to discussing important matters with them over the coming weeks and months.
