Sébastien Maté named FBBP 01 goalkeeping coach | OneFootball

Sébastien Maté has been appointed FBBP 01's new goalkeeping coach. According to Le Progres, the club acted swiftly amid an eventful summer reshuffle.

Bourg-Péronnas have seen significant movement this summer among both players and staff.

Goalkeeping coach Pascal Landais had been expected to return after his World Cup stint with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, but he accepted an offer from Red Star in Ligue 2.

Maté, 53 and born in Mont-de-Marsan, enjoyed a lengthy playing career from Stade Brestois to Olympique de Marseille.

As a coach, he has worked at the Brest academy, Borgo, Paris FC and la Duchère, then with Caen's reserves in N3 since 2022.
