Newly-signed Real Madrid star Dean Huijsen has spoken out on the prospect of testing his talents against Blancos legend Cristiano Ronaldo.

Fresh off respective victories over Germany and France, Portugal and Spain will go toe-to-toe in the finale of the Nations League this weekend.

The matchup pits a whole host of the game’s standout players against one another, with one intriguing battle already under widespread discussion coming in the form of that outlined above.

Dean Huijsen is fresh off playing a leading role for Spain against France on Thursday, with Cristiano Ronaldo having netted Portugal’s decisive 2nd goal versus Germany.

Speaking to the media after his country’s showpiece meeting with Portugal was confirmed, Huijsen was in turn drawn on the prospect of facing off with his new club’s all-time top scorer.

And the young stopper went on to explain:

“Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best in history. It’s a dream to face him… let’s see if I can stop him!”
