AJ Auxerre have signed Franco-Ivorian left-back Sékou Fofana, 23, on a four-year contract. He will play in Ligue 1 this season.
According to L'Équipe, the deal follows the permanent capture of Cameroonian forward Danny Namaso, a renewed loan for attacking midfielder Romain Faivre, and the arrivals of Belgian midfielder Arthur Piedfort and Mauritanian goalkeeper Mamadou Diop this summer.

Fofana was developed at Saint-Étienne until 2021.
He featured 40 times in all competitions for Lausanne-Sport in 2025-2026, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
He spent 2023-2024 on loan at Avranches in the National.
