Senny Mayulu withdraws from France Under-21s after right calf injury against Nice | OneFootball

Senny Mayulu has withdrawn from France Under-21s after suffering a calf injury in Paris Saint-Germain’s 4-0 Ligue 1 win against Nice on Saturday.

The club said in a statement that the 19-year-old midfielder sustained a right calf lesion in the match and will remain in treatment for the next two weeks.

He was substituted in the 43rd minute.

Called up by Gérald Baticle, he had been due to face Luxembourg and Iceland on 26 and 30 March in Euro Under-21 qualifying.

Given the timeline, the Paris academy product should return shortly before the Champions League quarter-final first leg against Liverpool on 8 April.
