Sergio Conceicao 'interested in' Marseille job | OneFootball

Olympique de Marseille are back in the market for a head coach after Roberto De Zerbi left on Wednesday, and L'Équipe reports that Sergio Conceicao would be interested in taking over.

The Portuguese came close to the job in summer 2024, when De Zerbi was appointed, and is understood to have maintained good relations with the hierarchy. The report adds his current role at Al-Ittihad could be an obstacle.

Marseille are drawing up a shortlist. Foot Mercato reports that Habib Beye is among the candidates.

The Senegalese coach was dismissed by Stade Rennais earlier this week, and he has previously made clear he would like the OM job.

The club want a swift appointment. Two seasons ago they went through four managers in a single campaign.
