Marco Baroni has made a handful of alterations to his Lazio side for Monday evening’s Serie A clash at home to Cagliari, following the 5-1 thrashing of Como during the full midweek round of league fixtures a few days ago.

Baroni was announced as the Serie A coach of the Month for October on Monday afternoon. He has changed all-but-one of his defenders as Manuel Lazzarri, Alessio Romagnoli and Luca Pellegrini come in for Adam Marusic, Patric and the high-flying Nuno Tavares, who has eight assists from eight games so far this term.
Nicolo Rovella partners Matteo Guendouzi in midfield, replacing Matias Vecino, while Boulaye Dia returns to the attacking unit in place of Pedro.
Cagliari, who lost 2-0 to Bologna last time out, have also made wholesale changes across the pitch. As Yerry Mina and Tommaso Augello return to the back four.
Kick-off is due at 19.45 GMT.
