The Austria international will undergo medical tests on Monday. He’ll complete a €1m loan move with an option to buy for €7m.
Atalanta needed a new defender after injuries to Odilon Kossounou and Giorgio Scalvini who may not return to action before next season.
At the same time, Lazio have shaken hands with Verona for Belahyane and with Vejle Boldklub for central defender Provstgaard.
Alfredo Pedullà broke the news on Sunday afternoon, which was confirmed by other media later on.
Belahyane will join Lazio on a permanent €10m transfer plus €2m-3m add-ons.
Provstgaard is a U21 Denmark international who has the same agent as Lazio winger Gustav Isaksen. He’s expected to join Lazio for around €7m.
