Serie A Week 25 official line-ups: Lazio vs. Atalanta

With Charles De Ketelaere out, Atalanta look to Lazar Samardzic and Nikola Krstovic against Lazio’s Daniel Maldini and Tijjani Noslin, before these teams meet in the Coppa Italia semi-final.

It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico at 17.00 GMT.

This is meant to be a head-to-head for European ambitions, although a six-point gap has opened up between these sides in seventh and eighth place.

They will face off again in the Coppa Italia semi-final on March 4, with the second leg in Bergamo in April.

La Dea lost De Ketelaere to a meniscus injury, as he had surgery on Thursday and will be out of action for at least a month.

Gianluca Scamacca is not fully fit either, but Marten de Roon and Honest Ahanor return from suspension after the 2-1 win over Cremonese.

Giacomo Raspadori is rested in favour of Samardzic and Nicola Zalewski in support of Krstovic.

Lazio have had a chaotic few weeks, which saw dramatic late goals in a 3-2 win over Genoa and 2-2 draw away to Juventus.

They were in action on Wednesday, eliminating Coppa Italia holders Bologna in a penalty shoot-out at the Stadio Dall’Ara.

Alessio Romagnoli returned from his failed transfer to Al-Sadd only to immediately pick up a Serie A ban, while Pedro sprained his ankle and will be out for a month.

Mattia Zaccagni, Toma Basic, Manuel Lazzari and Samuel Gigot are also injured, leaving Maurizio Sarri with few options.

Daniel Maldini starts against his former club, who he left in January, flanked by Gustav Isaksen and Noslin.

Oliver Provstgaard steps into defence, with Fisayo Dele-Bashiru plugging the midfield gaps.
