FC Bayern are still interested in Bradley Barcola, but a transfer of the PSG star seems unlikely this summer

The rumours surrounding Bradley Barcola and FC Bayern continue. The French international has been linked with a move to Munich for months. However, there are now many indications that a transfer next summer is unlikely to happen

As reported by Sky, Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl is said to have recently enquired once again about the attacking player’s situation at Paris Saint-Germain. According to the report, however, a signing is currently considered „not feasible“

The main reason: the financial dimensions of the deal. Both the possible transfer fee and the 23-year-old’s salary are said to be virtually unfeasible for Bayern at present

PSG are apparently demanding 100 million euros

Christian Falk, head of soccer at BILD, comes to a similar conclusion: „I’ve asked around about Bradley Barcola and heard that he’s not considered unsellable at PSG. However, they would have to offer 100 million euros. So that’s a difficult decision for Bayern!“

Barcola is still under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2028, and the Frenchman came on as a substitute in both games of the Champions League semi-final against FC Bayern

It has recently been reported several times that the winger is not completely satisfied with his current role at PSG, but a departure only seems realistic if he receives an absolutely top offer

Big competition in the bidding for Barcola

According to Sky, Arsenal, Liverpool and FC Barcelona are also interested in the attacking player alongside FC Bayern, while the portal TEAMtalk has also brought other top European clubs such as Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid and Manchester United into play

Munich are said to have already given Barcola a lot of thought last summer, but the record champions ultimately opted for Luis Diaz

The Colombian has since developed into an absolute top performer. With 47 goals in 48 competitive games, Diaz is playing an outstanding season and is one of the most important attacking players in Vincent Kompany’s team

Nevertheless, Bayern are still on the lookout for additional quality in attack, with Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon currently considered a concrete candidate.
