A top-flight switch could be on the cards for Hertha BSC goalkeeper Tjark Ernst, with several Bundesliga clubs tracking him ahead of the summer window.

Bild reports that SC Freiburg, FC Augsburg, Mainz 05 and Hamburger SV have placed the 23-year-old on their shortlists.

Borussia Mönchengladbach and VfL Wolfsburg have long been linked, while FC Porto and Ajax are also said to have shown interest.

His destination may hinge on where a vacancy opens up between the posts.

Ernst has been Hertha’s first-choice keeper for the past three seasons and is reportedly available for as little as €5 million due to a release clause.
