Croatia played a good game against England to start off their 2026 World Cup campaign - but it wasn't enough, as they were beaten 4-2. Seeing as Ghana won their game against Panama on Matchday 1 in group L, Croatia are now under pressure: they have to beat Panama themselves in order to have a chance of qualifiying for the next round!

Several current and former Bundesliga players are part of Croatia's squad: Andrej Kramarić, Josip Stanišić and Luka Vušković have all enjoyed outstanding seasons in the German league and want to make their mark on the international stage as well.
