Sevilla FC are moving to cut the wage bill and raise funds for pending signings, with crucial days ahead. Sporting chief José Ignacio Navarro is fronting multi-party talks to unlock departures. The focus is on Akor Adams and Tanguy Nianzou.
Tanguy Nianzou has a move to LOSC Lille of Ligue 1 lined up after passing a medical last weekend. He is set to leave on a free, waiving part of his owed salary, with Sevilla covering a percentage of his final year. According to ABC de Sevilla, the pact delivers a saving of just over four million euros.
Akor Adams is close to becoming Sevilla’s biggest sale of the summer, with talks advancing with Venezia FC of Serie A. The fixed fee exceeds 15 million euros, and add-ons of easy fulfilment could push the deal beyond 20 million.
The squad overhaul still demands a deep clear-out. Joan Jordán, Federico Gattoni, Fábio Cardoso and Rafa Mir are training separately while they seek new clubs. Their exits would ease the wage bill, especially the legacy contracts of Jordán and Mir.
The club are also tracking possible capital gains from sales of other assets. Rubén Vargas carries strong Premier League interest and is valued at a minimum 20 million euros, while Chidera Ejuke has attracted Belgian suitors.
Juanlu Sánchez remains on Atalanta BC’s agenda, with a 15 million euros offer under consideration. Wing-back Oso is weighing a renewal against proposals from Fiorentina and Nottingham Forest. The next steps will shape Sevilla’s summer business.
