Sevilla are planning an attacking overhaul this summer, contingent on near-certain safety after consecutive wins at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. According to La Colina De Nervion, the sporting department has accelerated work to sharpen the forward line.
The reshape will hinge on departures. Neal Maupay, on loan from Olympique Marseille, has not earned a stay, and his two goals, against RCD Mallorca and CA Osasuna, brought no direct points. Alexis Sánchez has been an effective impact option and struck the winner against Real Sociedad, yet his stint appears set to finish this summer.
Academy striker Isaac Romero remains in the first team but has not kicked on, still to surpass four LaLiga goals in a season. That return falls short of the club’s ambitions for next term.
By contrast, Akor Adams has quietly matched Dodi Lukebakio’s combined goals and assists from last season. His efficiency is likely to attract offers, forcing a choice between retention and a profitable sale.
The club has opened a search for one or more strikers to restore competition in attack.
Giovanni Simeone is being monitored amid an 11-goal run at Torino, though River Plate want to repatriate him. Talks are under way with Leicester City for Patson Daka, with Valencia also circling.
The Joselu Mato route is gaining traction as Antonio Cordón seeks to use his impending exit from Al-Gharafa SC in Qatar to add experience at low cost. Further updates will determine who leads the line.
