Sevilla sign Marseille’s Neal Maupay on loan with six million euros option | OneFootball

Sevilla said in a statement that they have signed Marseille striker Neal Maupay, 29, on loan, with an option to make the move permanent for six million euros.

Maupay has been on the fringes at Marseille this season, making only three appearances.

His move from Everton was made permanent in the summer, yet he remained out of favour, even during Amine Gouiri’s lengthy spell on the sidelines earlier in the season.

Marseille had sought a permanent exit for the forward, but he leaves on a temporary deal instead.

Maupay, previously a target for Paris FC, will wear the No. 17 shirt for the Rojiblancos.
