Kevin Andrade has emerged on Sevilla’s radar for the next window after an eye-catching breakthrough in Russia. El Desmarque reports that the Baltika Kaliningrad centre-back has impressed European scouts, Antonio Cordón among them, following his 2024 move to Europe.
One of the season’s standout performers in the Russian top flight, the Colombian has become a mainstay for Baltika. His dominance in the air and composed passing have underpinned that rise.
Raised at América de Cali, where he played more than 100 games, Andrade had a stint with Platense in Argentina before joining Baltika in 2024 for about half a million euros. The defender stands close to 1.90m.
Sevilla are not alone, with Zenit St Petersburg and Lokomotiv Moscow monitoring his situation. His likely price is around four and a half million euros.
As Sevilla assess alternatives at centre-back, Mundo Deportivo has linked David Affengruber of Elche as another possibility. However, such operations would demand fees that currently appear out of reach.
Ultimately, any movement will hinge on Sevilla’s fragile finances and their fight to avoid relegation. Should they drop into LaLiga Hypermotion, significant signings would be shelved, with plans contingent on securing safety.
