Sevilla are reshaping their summer plans, prioritising a leading centre-forward. The sale of Akor Adams will bring significant income to facilitate further deals, and Adrián Embarba has been offered.
According to Informe Morrocotudo, the club’s absolute priority is to sign a number nine to take over from Adams.
José Ignacio Navarro is also working on a second striker to replace Alexis Sánchez, plus a right winger and a back-up goalkeeper. On the left, as Sevilla seek an exit for Adrià Pedrosa after his loan at Elche, a move for Atlético Madrid academy full-back Julio Díaz is close for one million euros and 50 per cent of his rights. If Marcao departs, another defender would follow.
The right flank search is prominent. Embarba’s proposal has been well received at Nervión, although he is not currently the top option, and a favourable loan clause in his Almería contract could ease any move.
Bryan Zaragoza is also under consideration, with Bayern Munich not counting on him after a turbulent season on loan at Celta and AS Roma. While Embarba looks the simpler financial route, Sevilla are keeping alternatives open.
The shortlist extends beyond those two, with further options to be revealed in the coming weeks.
