Sevilla are weighing up a move for Spartak Moscow midfielder Nail Umyarov as they look to reinforce midfield. A significant reduction to his exit terms is understood to apply if a club from Europe’s top five leagues makes contact.
RPL Sky reports that any deal this summer could come below his €10m release clause, though still above five million euros, if one of those leagues comes calling. Meanwhile, ESTADIO Deportivo says Umyarov has publicly acknowledged Sevilla’s interest.
Spartak academy director Nikolai Larin has said the midfielder is ready for LaLiga and has the level to shine for Sevilla. Even with the reduced figures, Sevilla’s budget is tight and a sale may be needed first.
He is contracted until June 2029 and remains a key figure for Spartak and in Russian football. Last season he logged more than 3,000 minutes across 39 official games, and has also been linked with Villarreal and Valencia.
One route to unlock a deal could be centre-back Kike Salas, who interests Spartak after a previous attempt to sign him. Including Salas in talks could make the numbers work for Nervión.
