Sheepfolds marks Sunderland’s 2-1 derby win with Guinness head message | OneFootball

Sheepfolds in Sunderland marked the 2-1 derby win over Newcastle United by serving Guinness pints topped with a bespoke victory message. According to Sunderland Echo, the special finish was offered to anyone ordering a Guinness after full time.

The popular venue, next to the Stadium of Light, welcomed hundreds of supporters to watch the game on a big screen.

After Brain Brobbey’s last-minute winner sealed the result, staff poured pints bearing the red and white message “Full Time Newcastle 1 Sunderland 2”, alongside Guinness and Premier League emblems.

The celebratory pours proved popular as fans enjoyed the Black Cats completing the derby double over the Magpies.

Before kick-off, drinkers were also served pints topped with the Sunderland AFC badge.
