Sheffield United have eyed a move for Barnsley winger Reyes Cleary.

Sheffield United have turned their attention towards South Yorkshire neighbours Barnsley as Chris Wilder vies to add fresh talent to his squad before the winter transfer window closes.
The Blades have signed right-back Ki-Jana Hoever on loan from Wolves this month, and Wilder is also keen to bolster his attack, while the Steel City club retain an outside chance of reaching the Championship play-offs.
United remain just 17th in the second tier, but they produced a statement 3-1 win over automatic promotion chasers Ipswich Town last Saturday.
Wilder's men travel to Millwall this weekend, and they will have to be at their best once again, as the Lions deservedly sit fifth in the Championship.

Sheffield United have eyed a move for Barnsley winger Reyes Cleary, as they battle to close the gap between themselves and the second tier's top six, with the ex-West Brom attacker appearing on the club's transfer shortlist.
The 21-year-old has been a real asset for the Tykes in League One this term, notching five goals and seven assists in 20 third-tier appearances.
Following his strong performance for Conor Hourihane's side in the FA Cup against Liverpool, Cleary has also attracted interest from Blackburn Rovers, who have had bids turned down for his signature.
Amid Wilder's interest for in signing Cleary, though, Football League World asked our Sheffield United fan pundit, Jimmy, who runs the Blades Ramble YouTube channel, if he would welcome his club's move for the Barnsley man.
Jimmy told FLW: "Get him in! Yes, he's a player a lot of us Blades fans have admired from afar, to be honest. I think the breakout performance against Liverpool put him on a lot of people's radar, and it's probably upped his price a bit. But he looks a really exciting young prospect.
"It's a position that we need, really. Certainly, widemen, as an option. Even though we've got Gus Hamer starting for us on the left at the moment, and Andre Brooks out on the right, Cleary would give us something different.
"I think he's a legitimate winger, as opposed to somebody who will cut inside. I'm really pleased at the prospect of him, potentially, becoming a Blade. I can see it now, a perfect match."

As alluded to by Jimmy, Cleary's potential arrival from Barnsley will give Sheffield United a fresh dimension to their attack, as he is an out-and-out winger.
Wilder has been reliant on utilising attacking midfielder Hamer out wide, both this term and last season.
However, playing either the Dutchman or fellow playmaker Callum O'Hare on the wing, rather than in their preferred number 10 role, is the only realistic way of fielding both of them.
Cleary's arrival would dampen Hamer's chances of starting on the left, meaning that either the 28-year-old or his former Coventry City teammate O'Hare will miss out on game time.
Hamer was already reduced to making substitute appearances in recent Championship clashes with Leicester City, Charlton Athletic, and Southampton, before showing Wilder what he can do from the start by producing two assists against Ipswich.
