Femi Seriki's performances have seen the defender attract transfer interest in recent times
Sheffield United's season is currently at a crossroads, with there still hope amongst the camp at Bramall Lane that the play-offs can be reached in the final weeks of the Championship term.
The Blades are currently sat 15th in the table having accumulated 50 points from 38 games thus far, with Chris Wilder, at the very least, able to steer his boyhood club away from any danger of relegation to League One after a disastrous start to the campaign.
There is currently a 10-point gap for the Steel City club to make up with only 24 more points to play for, meaning the majority of people outside of S2 have started to write off the club's chances of making the post-season lottery for a second successive campaign.
This comes after a run of two draws and a defeat in the past three matches against West Bromwich Albion, Norwich City and most recently, Birmingham City.
United were able to take a point away from St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park after Patrick Bamford's equaliser, which followed all of Marvin Ducksch's stunning free-kick opener, a missed penalty from Sydie Peck and Femi Seriki's 23rd-minute dismissal after being adjudged to have fouled Ibrahim Osman.
The past two matches have been frustrating as far as the defender is concerned, with his overall performances in a mixed season for United as a collective providing a real bright spark and subsequent transfer interest.
And, after being linked with a potential Premier League move in the winter transfer window, Football League World's Sheffield United fan pundit, Jimmy - from the Blades Ramble YouTube channel - believes the club will be fielding more interest in Seriki this summer.

Seriki has been with United since the summer of 2019 after joining from Bury, and has recently started to earn his stripes within the first-team picture.
After a handful of loan spells, which included a short stint with Rotherham United in the second half of the 2023/24 season, the 22-year-old has burst onto the scene as a regular under Wilder and Selles.
So far this season, Seriki has made 32 appearances for the Blades across all competitions - taking his overall tally to 63 for the club.
A goal and four Championship assists has showcased his ability as a creative threat from deep, whilst also shining in defensive battles. Unsurprisingly, this caught the attention of Everton.
Again, it is no surprise that Wilder has stated that he would like the full-back tied down to a new deal, with his current contract expiring next summer, whilst Jimmy expects interest to come the Blades' way for his signature in the upcoming window.
"I'm definitely expecting interest in Seriki in the summer," he told FLW.
"In fact, I think we'll be fielding interest from Premier League clubs for a few of our young players.
"Femi Seriki's had a breakout season, really. He's really strong going forward. His athleticism is off the charts," Jimmy claimed.
"He's still got some work to do on the defensive side of his game and his positional work. But, in terms of an attacking full-back, he's really stepped up this season and is a bonafide first-teamer for us.
"He'd be a big loss, but I think he's one of our higher ticket assets," he added.

Jimmy also believes that interest will continue to surface in academy graduates Andre Brooks and the aforementioned Peck, whilst the former was also of interest to Club Brugge in January.
Brooks has eight goal contributions thus far as Seriki's partner on the right flank, whilst Peck continues to impress as a composed head on young shoulders in the middle of the park.
"Andre Brooks, I expect there to be interest in," he stated.
"Like Seriki, he's established himself as a first-teamer this season. Their partnership on the right-hand-side has been incredible.
"A little bit 'one-dimensional' at times. He cuts in often, but it works well with Seriki's overlap. I'm expecting to field interest in Brooks.
"Sydie Peck is another one who may come into the category of 'have to sell' rather than 'want to sell'," Jimmy continued.
"He just gets better game after game.
"I say that ironically, because he probably had one of his poorer games of the season against Norwich.
"But, overall, Sydie Peck's come on leaps and bounds. What a player we've got there.
"The beauty is that Sheffield United hold the cards here.
"All three have decent time left on their contracts, so we'll wait and see. But, I think, with no parachute payments, we're going to have to sell in the summer, unfortunately."
