FLW's Blades fan pundit has given his opinion on the current rumours linking Tyrese Campbell with a move north of the border
Barring a miraculous run of form and a 13-point swing in the final seven games, Sheffield United will be facing a third straight season in the Championship next year.
And, with the parachute payments from the Premier League running out, too, the Blades are going to have to be smart with their dealings over the summer, as they won't be receiving any money from the top flight to cover expenses.
That may mean selling so they can improve the squad, and one player who has been linked with a move away has been Tyrese Campbell, with Scottish giants and Old Firm rivals Celtic and Rangers both sending scouts to watch the 26-year-old in action recently.
Campbell has been at Sheffield United since 2024, when he signed a three-year deal at Bramall Lane following his contract at Stoke City running out. Next season would mark the end of that deal.
As he was a free transfer, he'd represent pure profit for Sheffield United if he were to be sold on for a fee, which would be very useful as the Blades undergo their first summer without parachute payments, or money from being in the Premier League, in eight years.

Because of this, and the fact that this summer resembles the final chance for the Blades to maximise their sale of Campbell as he heads into the final year of his deal, Jimmy, the host of the Blades Ramble podcast and FLW's Sheffield United fan pundit, believes that his club should be listening to offers for the 26-year-old.
He was conflicted, as he appreciates the work that the former Stoke man has done at Bramall Lane, especially in his first season, but understands that it may be a move that has to happen.
"I think we've got to be realistic with no more parachute payments, and Tyrese Campbell has one more year left on his deal," he said.
"He was brilliant for us in the first year, but this year has been largely disappointing, it has to be said, so if we get decent money offered to us, we have to consider it.
"It's also a case of whether he'd be willing to sign a new deal here, too, so anything between £4 million and £5 million, and it wouldn't surprise me if we accepted an offer for him.
"We have to be super sensible now with finances, and with him not being an immediate first-teamer now, we would have to consider an offer around that margin."
Around £5 million would be a good bit of business for Campbell as he enters his final year at the club. As mentioned earlier, that would resemble pure profit, as the Blades spent nothing to bring him to the club in 2024.
This season, the 26-year-old has just six goals in 34 Championship appearances. Of those, 21 have been starts, but he's been relegated to the bench throughout 2026 as Patrick Bamford began to establish himself as the first-choice frontman under Chris Wilder.

As Jimmy alluded to, Campbell hasn't been up to the standards that he set last term in his second season at the club so far. With him being reduced to an impact substitute lately, this summer would be the perfect opportunity to part ways.
And it would easily be the most beneficial option for both parties if the price were right.
For Campbell, he'd be allowed to start more games once more and play in Europe with Celtic or Rangers, while Sheffield United would be able to improve its financial standing without having to part with a first-team player.
The 26-year-old would leave Bramall Lane with the well-wishes of everyone and plenty of memorable moments. From the winning goal in his first Steel City derby and the opener at Wembley in the play-off final last season, to the brace against Sheffield Wednesday back in November's derby, he's given Blades fans plenty to celebrate.
And, to give Sheffield United a good chance of being back in the promotion hunt next season as a non-parachute payment side and celebrate even more good moments, he may be someone who needs to be offloaded.
