The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Trust urges fans to return to normality in order to end Dejphon Chansiri's reign
The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Trust have sent a clear message to the club's fanbase by urging supporters to return to normality and put protests behind them.
After seemingly never-ending turmoil at Sheffield Wednesday, the Owls announced on Friday that the club have gone into administration after mounting substantial debts to HMRC.
With there now being more pressure than ever on the club owner, Dejphon Chansiri, the Thai businessman has finally surrendered control of the club he has owned for a decade.
Constant EFL embargoes due to failure to pay wages on time have being prevalent for months now, but upon the news this morning, all those involved at Hillsborough can breathe a sigh of relief as this long-standing nightmare seems to be easing off.
The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Trust have released 'A Call to Action' in an attempt to keep the fanbase rallying together and look forward to the future for the brighter days ahead.
With fans having to boycott matches as well as not wearing the club's merchandise with pride so far this season, the SWST has urged Owls fans to give the club what they need right now, which at this moment in time are 'stability and income'.

With the SWST sending out a clear message to their supporters who have had to endure such a long period of hardship, bringing back a sense of normality to the Blue quaters of the Steel City is what matters most at this moment in time in order to help end the Chansiri era.
Via the SWST statement on X, fans are urged to, 'return in pride', beginning with Saturday's clash with Oxford United.
And with the team's performance on the pitch very much mimicking the ongoings off the pitch, Owls fans will be well aware that a change in forturnes isn't going to happen overnight.
However, a home fixture at a hopefully near enough fully packed out Hillsborough against an Oxford side, who so too are struggling for points in the early stages of the season, the Owls couldn't have been given many better opportunities to put things right on the grass too.
With Wednesday sitting rock bottom with six points, and Oxford on nine points, it really can be classed as a six pointer, especially with it now confirmed that a 12-point deduction will be heading their way due to going into administration.
The SWST said: 'Now is the time to fill the stands, wear the colours, and spend with purpose. Now is the time to rebuild.'
With Wednesday's fans sure set to follow the instructions given to them, the togetherness that the club have formed in this time of terror must continue past the news, as they enter a new era.
Despite thanking the supporters for their work up to now, the Trust has a mission to look at what comes next, which is 'the phase of renewal'.

By entering administration, it gives Sheffield Wednesday the chance to start a new despite the 12-point punishment that comes with it. The new era gives the fanbase a chance to believe in their club again, which has been absent for quite some time now.
Without hope and optimism, you could argue is there any point in being a football fan? However, with the administration providing a clear and obvious exit route for the Thai businessman, Chansiri, it was his wrongdoings and stubbornness to sell the club which led Wednesday to this point.
Looking at the positives of the situation, one pleasing aspect is that, in the midst of the current crisis, those who work at the club have finally know that their jobs are stable.
From persistent protests and 'resistance' as said by the SWST, fans can now enter the next stage of giving back finances to the club, and that stems from buying tickets and the kit, to even a pint on a matchday.
With nothing but positivity flooding through the veins of all involved at Sheffield Wednesday, despite the challenges that lie ahead, fans will all be in agreement that they are beginning to get their club back.
