Sheffield Wednesday are in the process of rebuilding their first team squad for life in League One.

Arise Capital completed their takeover of the Owls in May, and have already confirmed the renewals of Liam Cooper and Max Lowe.

Burundi international Liongola made 31 appearances in the Belgian Pro League last season, contributing two goals and six assists, playing the majority of his games at right wing-back, although he can also play off the left too, and it shows that Henrik Pedersen may be sticking to a back three this coming season.

Liongola has been with La Louviere for two seasons, and has cemented himself as a key part of the first team squad in that time.
